Windows 10 is Microsoft’s second most installed OS till date with more than 300 million installs less than a year of it being released. This might have something to do with the fact that Microsoft made the major upgrade free for people already running Windows 7 and above.

A little known fact however is that Microsoft uses your updated PC to serve updates to other PCs that might not even be connected to the same network.

What this means is that anytime you update your Windows 10 PC, you might be installing an update directly from someone else’ computer without you knowing and also without their permission.

The good news though is that this option can be disabled but to do this, you have to dig your way through the settings.
