As at Today , The Value of United States
Dollars Continue To Appreciates Against the
Nigerian Naira in an alarming rates of ₦350 .
However this Free fall of value is catastrophic
to the Nation's economy as it has it has
reflected in the local Market with drastic
price hike on imported commoduties.
Nigerians Continue to cry on daily basis on
this latest Development.
Elsewhere the free fall is favouring some
group of people [I included].
This Group include Bloggers Running and
Adsense program and other related
programs.
>Freelancers based in Nigeria.
> Internet marketers
As the values of their earnings has increase
explosively.
I as example saw my last payments ( my
Adsense earnings) tripled .
Although its a huge boost for adsense
publishers, internet marketers and others.
We are faced with problem of buying
imported products at tripled price.
Last week I was forced to buy a Nikkon Camcoder
( which i Intended to use for my new Youtube
Channel) at alarming price of ₦39,000
against the intial price of ₦24,000 .
When I put a call to the online shopping
customer care representative this is what she
said and I quoted " Mr. Olayinka we are
sorry for the inconvienieces this might have
cost you, the sudden changes in price and
contradicting price of our products is due to
the changes in value of naira . Indeed we re
very sorry, will you still like to place the
order?" And I angrily said Yes!!
This is the real situation on ground . And the
Nigeria Government and it team of Financial
experts need to do something . Almost
immediately as it adverse effect is
catastrophic to the Nation's economy.
