Chelsea tackle Manchester City in the FA Cup this weekend and both groups will hope to progress to the following round of the opposition.

For Chelsea, this could be their most obvious opportunity with regards to winning something this season. With respect to Manchester City, the Premier League gaints are still in the title race and are in the finals of the Capital One Cup.

Guus Hiddink won the FA Cup amid his first spell responsible for Chelsea and the Dutchman will hope to reproduce that accomplishment at the end of the day. The Blues have had an appalling season in the Premier League and their just risk of playing in Europe next season is winning the FA Cup or the Champions League.

Manchester City are plagued with injuries at the moment and could be forced to play their younger players. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea can take advantage of that and progress onto the next stage of the FA Cup.

Chelsea could rest their first-choice keeper Courtois for Sunday’s tie against Manchester City.

Hiddink will be without the service of his first choice centre-backs as well. Terry and Zouma are out injured.
