Alkaline water has become really popular lately, which is no wonder due to its ability to kill cancer cells, enhance metabolism and clear toxins from your body. The majority of research about this has been done in Japan, so it’s still discussed whether alkaline water affects people from other parts of the world. Although it’s been confirmed that Japanese people live longest.
Within this article we’ll try to teach you how to make your own alkaline water, needing only 3 simple components.
Anything around you has a pH value, which stands for acidity or alkalinity of things. For example, rainwater has a pH of 7 which is considered to be neutral. Every value below 7 is considered acidic, while those above it as alkaline. The human body itself can’t be considered as a whole, since every separate organ or tissue has its own pH value.

Why is alkaline water so important?
One glass of alkaline water can do great things for your body, since it’s comprised of about 80% water and pH values can be detrimental for your health.
Friend and greasy food may taste good, but they make your body acidic, not to mention alcohol, caffeine, processed food, refined sugar and salt. Acidic bodies are easy to spot – headaches, fatigue, poor immunity and extreme abdominal pain are only some of the signs that show your body being too acidic.
Having an overly alkaline environment isn’t good either. Imbalance at both tips of the scale makes your healthy cells toxic, eventually causing their death. This can lead to the destruction of your organs, preventing their normal functioning.
Alkaline environment destroys cancer cells
Having its own supervision system about its pH values, your body removes strong acidic strong remainders without influencing any healthy cells. However, this could harm your health. By drinking alkaline water you hydrate your body, which makes it function better, boosting your health in general.
Now, to make your own alkaline water you will need:
• 2l purified water
• 1 tsp Himalayan salt
• 1 organic lemon, sliced
Preparing the concoction:
Fill a bigger filtered and clean jar with water, throw the lemon slices in it and make sure you don’t spill a single drop of the liquid. Then mix a teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt, seal the jar and let it stay overnight at room temperature. Drink 3 glasses of the alkaline water the next morning, but do this always before you eat or drink anything. This concoction restores the pH balance in your body, so hurry up and make it, your body will be grateful.
The AlkaPitcher makes instant alkaline water. This new product is a cost-effective way to filter and alkalize your water, so you may want to try it.
