sorry to say but, if you intend selling at the prevailing rate the bdc in front of the bank sells, what stops the person, in his/her convenient time, to walk up to the BDC to get $$? Lower rates (lower than BDC's rate) will drive patronage

You are right, I actually intend 2 sell at a rate lower than the BDC's; but not much lower.

If the funds are yours, withdraw and sell to BDC, No need for the charity.
