BIOGAS IN NIGERIA:

The energy needs of an average Nigerian no doubt is growing, with little in place to suffice for the growing population. With most of the populace resulting to cheaper means of energy from fuels like kerosene, firewood and natural gas.

Giving other energy sources like biogas, ethanol little or no attention. As a result we have pollution, wastage, carbon mono-oxide to contend with.

The purpose of this piece is to serve as an eye opener to the average Nigerian that, energy sources like biogas is very well possible, clean and efficient.

It requires little to be in place to get it up ‘n running. So i will highlight the basic details on setting up a biogas system for production of clean cooking gas. Am no expert in this, plus am sure we do have guys around that do install / set it up in homes and industrial settings in Nigeria.
