Immediate job vacancies exist for the role of a business development officer in a real estate company with its business object as; Project development, building construction, Joint venturing , project finance and facility management

Job Responsibilities:

The Business Development Manager will work to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. To define long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions

New Business Development:
o Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments
o Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential customers; discovering and exploring opportunities.
o Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
o Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating customers' need and goals. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
o Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
o Research and build relationships with new clients.

Client Retention:

o Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
o Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
o Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
o Maintain customer data base for completeness and currency.

Management and Research:

o Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
o Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system.
o Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
o Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

Social Media Marketing

o Managing the social media marketing strategy for all the company’s product; focusing on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, SlideShare.
o Execution of all social media activities (i.e. tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach, doing the heavy lifting, etc).
o Communicating in a professional, but unique social media “voice” for each client; directly aligned with the clients’ thought leadership and content platform.
o Creating social media campaigns and calls-to-action that drive target buyers to client sites and generate leads for our clients.
o Spending hours on LinkedIn every day engaging with our clients’ target audiences by sharing content, finding ways to grow LinkedIn company followership, and improve overall engagement with our clients’ LinkedIn Company Pages.
o Staying ahead of the curve in leveraging LinkedIn as a professional social media network and as a content hub, such as leveraging LinkedIn Signal to understand influential content that is shared and the people who are sharing them.
o Tweeting at least 20 – 30 times a day while engaging influencers to increase the followership of our clients’ social media profiles; receiving multiple mentions and retweets in the process.
o Posting several Facebook posts each day and finding new ways to leverage Facebook for professional and business purposes.



Core Competencies/Skill


o HND or BSC holder with atleast 3 years’ experience in real estate Industry.
o Candidate would ideally be from a commercial experience background within a sales environment
o Excellent knowledge of managing the social media marketing strategy for all the company’s product; focusing on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, SlideShare.
o Ability to write comprehensive and well written proposals and detailed responses to requests
o Ability to make major client presentations at Management level
o Experience of managing bid teams and Bid management leading to success.
