Depends on the school you are applying to. I know some schools you could still get into with that low score.

schools like futminna and funaab accept 180

Go and do A Level. After A level,you can usually enter straight into second year in some universities without JAMB. But I think it applies to only private universities.
So just do well in your WAEC and you'll be fine.

please i have got 157 in my jamb n i head a rumor dat jamb is adding 40marks i recheck again but still the same thing pls what do i do now am getting too much worried.

Thought jamb was adding 40 marks to everyone that wrote between 27 feb- 1st march. Recheck ur result again. So many results were upgraded.

Good morning. my broda finally passed jamb o. lol. he wrote last Saturday, he couldn't write well cos of the poor system in his centre. after the exam he was sent a score of 120. we had to contact mr Benjamin again for upgrade and he agreed to help with a payment of #4000. which we made on Monday, he upgraded the score to 190 which was enough to apply for Delsu, and now 40 was added by jamb again making 230. thank God o. from zero to hundred. all God's doing. if you need upgrade you should contact Mr Benjamin too 09057518272. be fast o.

Relax, take a deep breath, i kno hw it feels, jst relax. Don't be disappointed in urself, its ur 2nd jamb right? U tried with d 188 score, my first was 169, second 197.
Now, if u still wish to read optomery, register anoda jamb for nxt year. Don't gv up

With your score, you can apply at Yabaleft Polytechnic.

All institutions have a cut off mark of 180 so you can look for a cheap one around.

Check again cause jamb added 40 marks to anyone below 200. You might be lucky and get 220

normal to feel bad, but don't dwell on it. back in d days I used to have good scores, people with lower cost would b envying me but at d end of the day, they got admission while I had to sit back at home. right now u need information. try find out if you can do a change of course or institution. don't think cut off mark has being decided yet. so calm down and pray too. if God says it is it time, no one can stop u, not even u...that was my story.
