Indonesia issues tsunami warning after 7.9 quake strikes off Sumatra

The National Meteorological Agency has reported a 7.9 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Indonesia. (US Geological Survey (USGS)). The country has issued a tsunami warning. The shallow quake, which hit southwest of the island of Sumatra on Wednesday, had a depth of 10 kilometers (six miles).
