Pop singer Oritse Femi is giving back to the society that made him who he is today as he plans building a music academy in Ajegunle where he grew up.


According to source, the musical Taliban as he called himself has acquired expanse plots of land in AJ city as Ajegunle is popularly known. The source gathered that the property he bought for the music academy is around Tolu area of Ajegunle.


The Double Wahala crooner was interviewed by the source and said he was not ready to talk about it.
Oritse Femi grew up in Ajegunle from where he started his musical pursuit. He attended a music school of Johnny Napp in Ajegunle. He later went to forma group with some friends called the Junglist from where he started singing professionally.

AJ city is a Lagos surburb that has produced many successful singers like Daddy Showkey, KCee, Baba Fryo, Marvellous Benjy and many others.



When stardom sets in for Oritse Femi he left Ajegunle where he continues his musical career in Ikeja GRA and now he lives in highbrow Lekki. With fame, Oritse Femi is one of the most featured artists in the Nigerian music industry.
