We live in a world that is constantly on fire. Right now it burns, for example, on quite a few places and particularly the Middle East and Europe is largely characterized by it. This can be made intelligent films about.

But it is so clearly easier and more lucrative to make silly movies, movies that confirm stereotypes, films that consolidates and cements enemy images and movies that are so biased in its description of good and evil they become bothersome to watch.

Because China is a violent movie market, Hollywood has curbed the number of bad Chinese in his films, but cinema market in the Middle East, no one cares about, so here sits stereotypes still resolved.
