Saw this article written by a senior friend on Facebook and thought of sharing perhaps would be helpful to some people. Hope it does

Few days ago, I wrote an Article on the need to be at alert and be conscious of new devices of fraudulent people.

We are facing tough times as a Nation Economically and for that reason, Fraud Stars will not stop their games.

Based on my recent experience and some of my Partners, take note of this:

1. Avoid credit sales as much as possible.

2. Avoid customers offering to buy your goods on credit at a price far above the popular price.

3. Avoid a customer who resides in hotels or ask you to bring goods to a different location other than his or her place.

4. Once you detect lies, stop all transactions. Stop additional credit sales to a customer that is still owing you.

5. Any inconsistency in their words should put you off immediately.

6. If you are hooked, escalate the matter, don't continue to give grace period. Involve Police, Investigate and let such customers know, you have discover who he or she is.

7. Involve anyone related to them.. Like wife, husband, children and neighbours. If a debtor avoid your calls or switch off his or her phones.. then take note that danger looms.

8. Take Post dated cheques, take collateral, sign agreement, visit the actual residence and confirm character from the area independently.

9. Do not believe such persons when you get paid after your series of effort to the extent of going into any second transaction.

10. Finally ignore their sweet words. Don't allow high profit to attract you to fraudulent people. If people know how to make huge profit, they will not think about you first but their families and friends. Avoid walk in customers from long distance.. They may not have a good name where they come from especially if they can source what you sell where they come from.
