A young lady went to Sterling Bank, Ikorodu branch to deposit about #171000 today. Seeing how long the queue was, she took her deposit form, filled it and sat down in the bank.
She didn't know that some fraudsters where around and have noticed her. One of them, a man, claimed he was working in the bank and offered to help her pay in immediately. She thought he was a staff in the bank and handed him the deposit slip to help process it. He took it, went upstairs and later came back with a new slip claiming she made a mistake in the former one and demanded the money from her. She FOOLISHLY gave him the money and took the slip from him to refill. As she was refilling, another young man (one of the fraudsters) made her to move from the chair she was sitting to the next as she was sitting close to the one-way entrance door. As she moved to the next seat and concentrated on filling the deposit slip, the man who collected the huge sum from her made his way to the door without her notice. When he left, his colleague sitting close to the lady also got up and left.
After a long wait, the lady couldn't find the man nor her #171000. She started drawing attention and even called those who gave her the money to pay in.
They thought they've been scammed by Sterling Bank's Staff until the CCTV Camera was played and showed them.

Fellow Nairalanders, Beware. One of Sterling Bank's staff who lives with me just told me about it. Don't fall for this. Don't give anybody u dnt knw money to pay for u in d bank because of the long queue.. Suru Lere.. Patience indeed is a virtue, let's adhere to it.
