More revelation emerges as the anti-corrupting reforms set to tackle some illegal deals by the previous government.

Can Nigeria defeat oil corruption and mismanagement of public funds?


If you can recall the revelations gathered from $2.1 billion arms deal, where the accused were involved in sharing the looted funds among themselves, they never denied receiving money. All we have heard from then are flimsy excuses on why and how they share the public funds.

“One said he collected N4.5 billion for spiritual purposes, another said he received N2.1 billion for publicity, while yet another said he got N13 billion to pay someone else for the Maritime University land....... angry sad

The latest is about crude oil scam.

NNPC - Nigeria's state oil company has failed to pay government 3.2 trillion naira ($16 billion) (£11bn) revenues in 2014, the auditor-general said on Monday, the same year that the central bank governor was suspended after making a similar assessment.
