Please house,i need your advice. i need to know if canada has truly started green card lottery because my cousin just told me about this site and that i should help him pay for it.i have never heard of canada doing lottery and this people pick winners every month on so. please if this is geneue,let me know

If you have read my post well, you would not have asked this question. i wrote in my first post that my cousin wanted me to pay for him and since he gave me the website and i'm not too sure,i decided to ask the house

Tell your cousin it's 'fake'loooong thing, the way i understand it from the little i read on their website;
the program is designed by immigration lawyers to assist qualified immigrants to apply for visa


basically using HSMP as an exmple, you can go online to calculate your score, if you get the required
number of points, you qualify then go into a draw with this agent who will help you apply after paying in some money
those that meet the requirement and pay their fees will get their 'green card'-
they choose one out of millions who's paid their application fee to apply without charging them i think

it's like entrying a prize draw with payment

Actually, there is no green card lottery being offered by the Canadian government, but there are numerous migration programs by the Canadian government to attract skilled workers/professionals and Entrepreneurs into Canada. To immigrate under the second category as an Investor,Enterpreneur or Self employed.

Investor;
You must be an experienced business person and be willing to invest C$400,000 into Canada’s economy. Investors must:
show that they have business experience
have a minimum net worth of C$800,000 that was obtained legally and
make a C$400,000 investment

Entrepreneur;
You must:
show that you have business experience
have a minimum net worth of C$300,000 that was obtained legally and
respect the conditions for entrepreneurs after you arrive in Canada.

Self-employed persons are required to have either:
relevant experience that will make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada or
experience in farm management and the intention and ability to purchase and manage a farm in Canada.
