post from facebook read as follows:
~MUSLIMS RIGHT~
ABDUCTION AND FORCEFUL CONVERSION OF MUSLIM CHILDREN
Salaam All,
MURIC is seeking more information about Muslim children from North East Nigeria who were taken to the IDP camp in EDO state.
Reports say the children are being indoctrinated and forcefully converted to Christianity. Parents who attempted to withdraw their kids were not allowed by the church authorities.
We have contacted some of our members in Edo State but we need more information. Are you from the affected area? Do you have information to share with us?
This forum has more than 1, 800 members as at today. This is a good number particulary since all are educated. We are also scattered across all states of Nigeria and even other countries, Europe, US, Canada, etc.
We should be able to get information through networking at the snap of a finger for the benefit of the Ummah. A people who stay together can never be defeated.
MURIC wants to wade into the matter. They stole about 1,600 kids from the three troubled states under the guise of helping children affected by insurgency. But the kids ended up in a church in Edo State. It is human trafficking of the highest order and we must get to the bottom of it.
Does anybody have the contact of any of the children’s parents? Also, a member of the House of Reps, Dr. Asade Basheer, reportedly visited the camp. She was quoted as saying they were from her local government. Can anybody give us her contact, tel no or email address?
Please treat as urgent. Anyone who has information for us should call us on 08182119714 or 08033464974. Sensitive information should not be posted to the group but sent by text please.
