hi technolanders or engine-landers ... I just finished with my HND mechanical engineering and presently awaiting nysc. I'll later continue my studies in mechatronics after swervice. I've been researching on mechatronics since 2013 and I've seen that I'll need to be good at programming as well, so I've decided to learn Ladder Logic, G&M code, C++ and python. I intend learning all these before I finish my service. I did a lot of ''GM code'' in school, so all I need is practise. I'm currently learning ladder logic, so I'll welcome anyone who's good at it for some help.
also, I know of schools in Nigeria that offer mechatronics as a course, but I don't know if any of them admit students into the program via direct entry. I graduated with upper credit (HND) mechanical engineering (manufacturing option). kindly help a brother.

I know G&M code for CNC operations,Ladder logic programming for Siemens PLC,Scada,DeltaIV,Try to also learn design softwares like TurboCAD,PDMS etc Hands on experience is also important,you must be able perform O&M on systems like Gas Turbines(GT),Compressors,Pumps etc

wow, thanks a lot senior colleague! I'm so excited about your reply...this is a branch of engineering that hasn't been flooded by people, so I'm excited about the future! please, how/where did you learn all those stuffs? can you suggest any material or school where I can get quality technical skills? i don't even have a personal computer, i just make use of PDF files and my jotter to learn the ladder logic coz i don't want excuses for failure. I'm thinking of attending INSTITUTE FOR INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY, Lagos after nysc. your thoughts please...

also if you don't mind, can you please tell me where you work, I need some encouragement!
