http://www.news24.com.ng/Sport/Football/revealed-nff-contacts-five-foreign-coaches-for-super-eagles-job-20160330# Lagos - News24 can report that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has contacted, for screening, five foreign coaches that will head the Super Eagles technical crew after interim manager Samson Siasia completes his assignment. Siasia, currently coach of the Olympics-bound U23 team, was designated to coach the Super Eagles in a two-legged 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt, an assignment he has completed. After failing to qualify for the 2017 AFCON following a 1-0 loss to Egypt on Tuesday, Nigeria will now shift focus to the 2018 World Cup qualifiers which begins in October, and the federation is set to announce a new foreign coach for the Super Eagles on a permanent basis, after a series of screening is completed. |
