Alhaji Sani Aliyu Dandawo has died at the age of 72 after a protracted illness. He died at his home in Yauri, Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State on Sunday. He is survived by two wives, 22 children, 25 grand children and an aged mother.

He was buried this evening (yesterday) according to Islamic rites.
The late musician is known for songs like Shehu Shagari, Kuzo Muga Madaki, Dan Iyan Kano, among others.

The song he did for shehu kangiwa(the late/former sokoto state governor ) remain evergreen.

that's how we role in the north. Those restricted to one wife by their faith would tell you: north is an arid land or desert; they can't be a population explosion that can put them ahead of south in terms of number 'cos the south has proximity the coastal line and the rain-forest(how this useless analysis translate to 'child-birth' or growth in population , I don't know).
