As the rain season kicks in, lots of creatures will be crawling out of no where.

just this evening as I'm battling with the no light situation, and using my NYSC guide book as hand fan, i sited the 'millipede like thing' I don't know the name, but I know it stings and stinks.

what baffles me most is the kind of creature coming out of it again?
worms and maggots.

That's not a leech man. Leeches are aquatic organisms. It looks more like a centipede.

Onichophora velvet worm if as a Biologist I can't identify this organism then I am not worth being called a teacher of Natural Science

It is neither centipede nor leech pls it shares common features with arthropods and worms so it belongs to a different taxon

It is a group with dead end evolutionarily however it forms or occupies an important link in amphibious food chain which in turn returns the energy to man when man eats other animals that are velvetivorous
