Malaria Treatment. by lolasmilzyahoo(f): 7:29am On Apr 07, 2016
Please I want to know if a person treating malaria can still be affected by mosquito bite. I started using malaria drugs two days ago (combiart) my doctor said that's what I can use because i'm 10 weeks pregnant. I make sure I used insecticide to prevent further mosquito bite but unfortunately It didn't prevent mosquitoes from bitting me. I will finish my drugs today but I don't know if I should worry about the mosquito bite. Will the medication work? or I should go back to the hospital. Thanks. Really worried

Madam, please use mosquito net. That's the best way to prevent malaria.

Before you commence treatment, ensure you run a genuine test to confirm presence of malaria.
