3A Post Basic School of Nursing
(Diploma Course, Fulltime, Twelve
calendar Months)
i. Orthopedic Nursing
ii. Burns/Plastic Nursing
QUALIFICATIONS:
3B Prospective candidates for Post Basic
School of Nursing MUST;
i. Be registered with the Nursing and
Midwifery Council of Nigeria with current
practicing licence.
ii. Possess West African School Certificate /
GCE/NECO or their acceptable equivalent with
credits in five (5) subjects at one or two
sittings. This must include a credit in English
Language, Mathematics and at least two (2)
Science subjects viz Biology, Chemistry and
Physics obtained in not more than two sitting.
iii. Have at least one (1) year post
qualification experience.
iv. Provide three(3) confidential referee's
reports to be addressed to the Medical
Director one of which must be a reference
from your last place of Work or Testimonial
from the Principal of School of Nursing
v. Show evidence of sponsorship
Method of Application
i. Applications letter together with photocopies
of relevant certificate should be submitted in a
sealed envelope (with the programme duly
indicated at the upper right conner) to

Hospital, Enugu NOT LATER THAN SIX
WEEKS FROM THE DATE OF THIS
PUBLICATION
ii. The accompanying requirements MUST be
arranged as listed above failure to do so may
lead to disqualification.
SELECTION INTERVIEW
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for
selection/interview which will take place at the
New conference Hall National Orthopaedic
Hospital, Enugu.

a. Candidates who do not have complete
relevant documents as at the time for this
