Céphas Bansah is the spiritual chief of Ewe people in Togo and Ghana… but he’s more than that. The monarch, who governs more than two million, is also a professional mechanic who’s based in Germany. Perhaps it’s a hobby, perhaps it’s a passion – but the monarch juggles both responsibilities and appears to enjoy it. The 67-year-old Bansah, who relocated to Germany in 1970, has been married to wife, Gabriele, for 16 years. How does he govern his people? – Skype does the trick.

Hahaha, money must be made. Did his Palace guard follow him go sha... This is more or less a modern day "coming to America" movie. But what sort of a Kingdom has an absentee ruler when he could just abdicate his power to someone else but on the other hand it's good that he's practising his discipline |

dayowunmi: Just Exactly as "Coming to America" but in a different perspective. He seems to have a passion being a Mechanic....And he looks quite quite comfortable juggling being a monarch and Mechanic at the same time. I fear for his kingdom cos Treason can start at anytime against him while he's abroad  |

Kenzico:Exactly, am even surprised why he has not been overthrowned. If na naija hehn, he would have lost his kingship like many years ago, and from the pics of his throne it seems his community is fairly developed I.e not a village, how he's not been overthrowned is a testimony of the good people in his community, for naija, you dey around sef, dem dey drag kingship tussle to supreme court, if you no come dey around nko! |
