I made inquiry last week at FG Wilson. I was quoted 2.3m. Whereas, Yamaha at Oregun now sells 13kva diesel generator for 1.6m. 65 decibel Yamaha Diesel Generator is a no brainer. They have 9-18kva diesel generators available. I should be picking one up soon.

I actually spoke to you on the phone at one of the phone numbers you provided above. It was you I spoke to that quoted 2.3M or you must have been giving me quote for something higher than 13KVA. Could it be that you were giving me quote for 30KVA as against 13KVA? Do you remember I first asked you for 9-10KVA and you said it was out of stock? You said you based in Abuja. Remember I told you the generator was going to be used in Abeokuta. You told me you charge for installation to Abeokuta. Then I asked you why do I have to pay that much for installation when you have office in Lagos not too far from Abeokuta. I promised to send someone to check out your generators but when I directed the person to contact you guys, he told me not to bother with FG Wilson. He advised I contact Yamaha for better rate for the same 13KVA.

Why not display the cost of these generators here? I'm sure you have nothing to hide. If you don't have website where these generators are listed with prices, why not list their cost here?

@Fastshipping....most of this people thrive on the bargaining power of the client. You are right, if there is nothing to hide, I don't see why the prices can't be made public with a caveat that the prices quoted are valid for a limited period of time. Straight forward business without trying to be crafty, they will be amazed the number of customers they will get simply because some people who thought this generators are very expensive might actually realize it's affordable.
Nothing wrong with installation cost being negotiabe subject to inspection by their engineer/installer but the cost of the generator itself, shouldnt be a guarded secret
