– A very frightening prophecy by Prophet TB Joshua has continued to stir panic especially in Ghana

– Following the pronouncement by the cleric, about 600 foreigners have cancelled flights to the Ghana

– The West African nation is trying hard to contain the pressure stirred by Prophet Joshua’s prophecy

Prophet TB Joshua has predicted that there are impending terror attacks in Ghana and Nigeria.

Following the nerve wrecking prophecy of prophet and televangelist, Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as TB Joshua, 600 foreign nationals have withdrawn from attending an international programme being held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

Ghana Web reports that fear and panic that has gripped Ghana, following increasing terror threats heightened by the doom prophecy of the Nigerian cleric.

TB Joshua, founder and leader of Synagogue Church of all Nations, according to organisers, reportedly put fear in the international participants from Europe, America, Asia, and even other African countries, hence, the cancellation of their flights to Ghana.

According to The Daily Heritage, the spouses and relatives of some of the participants stopped the foreigners from travelling to Ghana for fear of being attacked by terrorists.

The programme, ‘Africa-Israel initiative, Ghana’ which began on Wednesday, April 13, had an incredibly low turnout on the opening day though organisers had assurances of participation weeks ago.

The food, drinks and water meant for the invited guests had to be sent to the Osu children’s home to avoid wastage.

Confirming the effects of the prophecy on the programme, the country director of the Africa-Israel initiative, Reverend Perey Gilbert Apreala told The Daily Heritage that indeed the prophecy was responsible for the low turnout.

“He has caused fear and panic among the foreigners so they could not attend the event for fear of any terrorist attack,” Rev Apreala stated.

Prophet T B Joshua’s latest prophecy is said to be costing Ghana a fortune.

The three day conference seeks to strengthen Ghana-Israel relationship, as well as promote Israeli technology and how to tap into the new trends to drive businesses in Ghana and Africa as a whole.

At the conference grounds, security was very tight. Individuals were screened at the main gate and before entering the AICC.

Some of the Ghanaian participants the paper spoke to expressed disquiet about the development, but noted that the programme was educative and the knowledge they have acquired would be utilized to transform their various work places.

TB Joshua’s prophesy comes on the back of a similar terror alert issued by the National Security Council in March, which said countries within the West African sub-region are at risk.

The Council said based on intelligence from other agencies, it has every reason to believe that countries including Ghana is at risk.

“The National Security Council on the basis of briefings by the intelligence agencies and partners has determined that there is a credible terrorists’ threat to all countries in the sub-region.”

Ghana’s national security sources have confirmed that a possible terrorist attack on the country is real, following the confessions of a Malian terrorist who is being interrogated as the brain behind the Grand Bassam attacks in Cote D’Ivoire.

The suspect is being investigated by the Ivorian security agencies for terrorism.

In a security alert sent to all the country’s security agencies dated April 9, 2016, a copy of which is available to Citi News, it said, “Intelligence gathered by the National Security Council (NSCS), indicates a possible terrorist attack on the country is real.”

According to the report, Ghana and Togo are the next targets after the attacks in Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire.

The choice of Ghana according to the report is to take away the perception that only francophone countries are the target. The Ivorian security agencies investigating the attack on the Grand Bassam, gathered that the terrorists “mode of entry into countries with their explosives and weapons is through concealment”.

“They enter through approved and unapproved entry points.

“In the Ivorian attacks they reportedly entered from Mali using Niger register 4×4 vehicle. They reportedly concealed their weapons and grenade in the vehicles compartment for spare tyres, padded with cushions and bubbled wraps to keep them stable and prevent noise.”

Following the real threat of the attack based on the information from Cote D’Ivoire; Ghana’s National Security has directed all controls, especially the Northern Borders with Burkina Faso to be extra vigilant. The statement asked all security agencies to treat the instructions as important.

On Saturday April 10, Prophet T.B. Joshua during a live church service aired on Emmanuel TV channel warned of possible terrorist attack in Ghana and Nigeria.

“I am seeing Thursday, Friday and Saturday – if I may say Thursday – because these evil people they are very funny.

“Anything can just happen. You will be very shocked to see what will happen, because when the prayer is going in this direction them (attackers) change to (another) direction,” he predicted.

While stressing that the attack would happen this month, the prophet urged the congregation to pray for Ghana and Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the Ghanian police force has started making moves to douse the effect of the prophecy.

A statement from the Ghana Police Service (GPS) reads: “We urged all Ghanaians to remain calm” and assured them of their safety.

“The security agencies have jointly put adequate measures in place to forestall any terrorist attacks or disturbances.

“All the requisite operational strategies, including intelligence gathering and tactical deployment of personnel have been unfolded to nib any breach of the peace in the bud.”
