As a Christian we were told tithe are very compulsory. So is good to tithe.

As we were all taught before you can be called a devoted Christian,that means you tithe alot.

My question is why is it only money we called tithe. Why not other things.

As a farmer you harvested 100tubers of yam,your 10% should be 10tubers(hope am correct with the calculations)why can't he take it to church as his tithe instead of money?

Is there any scripture that says it must be money not other things.

Any verses to back it up??
