Please what's occupation? How many points? Which assess assessment body?

Secondly, I do not intend to claim points for qualification, do I still need to present my degree and transcript to Vettesse? Am nomination HR Advisor as I have worked for 3years plus in that area. Here is my breakdown:
Age: 30

PTE: 20 (hopefully by grace of God)

3years work experience : 5

State Sponsorship : 5

Total: 60 points!

Finally, how much is the assessment fees for Vetessea? @boss Bellong and other guru please.

Nice Mathematics up there sir

But No Education... No PR sir...........

I stand to be corrected though....

You are eligible to apply for PR if you have, Degree "bsc" OND, Certificate or Apprenticeship cert.

All the points you calculated above without qualification will not fly.

2 & 3. Since you're not claiming points for work experience, I think you wouldn't be needing employment letters.

Good luck man!

Thanks so much. Please I'm just confused about something. While writing my CER for the project I carried out within my six months of being employed , as parts of the requirements for writing the reports, I stated that I am employed in the company and also stated my post. So, won't EA want to verify this as work experience, and will this not disqualify me from using the standard CDR assessment (without work experience)?

Hello Dewys1,

Just like others have advised, you will need to address the transcripts to any company or professional institution where you can easily retrieve the transcripts.

In my own case I sent it to my company address, and I got it after one week. Please note that I had to visit LAUTECH physically after 6 weeks of no response. I was meant to understand that the school is owing the postal services so my transcripts cannot fly because of this reason. However, I was advised that for a faster delivery, I will need to pay additional N2000 for postal services, N2000 for a reprinted copy because I had applied for it before sometimes in the past. In total I paid the sum of 11k to get the transcripts sent to Lagos, online payment inclusive. Please note that all this happened between December 2016 and January 2017.

In addition, I received my student copy within 3 days after visiting LAUTECH. And with the student copy, I lodged my application with EA following Bnimz advise.

My advise is that you don't need to apply online in other to avoid double payment just like I did , just go to student affairs, room 208 or so, then you can be rest assured of getting it within one week, max. 2 weeks. A friend of mine also got his few weeks ago without applying online .

Thanks, I appreciate the detailed response

You can just put an address that you have access to where you can pick the transcript.
Just remove the cover letter and photocopy the main transcript for certification before scanning it.
I must say that there is problem presently with the transcript, its taking longer than usual.
Just apply online and let me know when its done.

Thanks, I will proceed to apply with the copy I have.

You can show it in your CV and CPD as voluntary work/internship, but if you report it as a post study work/project, you will require a letter from the organization.

If you prepare your CDR based on work experience, you will have to submit employment documents irrespective of the job duration.

Please, is it advisable for one to first get to Australia with a visiting visa and then sort to apply for permanent residence over there? How possible will that be? Any chances of succeeding in it? I need your candid advise. Thanks in anticipation.
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Bnimz(m): 1:38pm On Apr 05, 2017
Its not advisable. Cos it makes no difference whether you are onshore or offshore, and since the process has no fixed timeline, your visiting visa can easily run out before you finish the whole process...

I think verification comes in when you're trying to claim points for work experience where one is asked to submit appointment letters and payslips. I doubt if EA goes ahead to verify one's career episodes written in the CDR. Not too sure though.
Anyone in the house could know better.

They may see my qualification not being closely related to the nominated occupation. That's all. I can submit it for assessmnet if need be but just asking to know since am not claiming points from it.

I have Bsc in Public Administration.

You sounds interesting and the same time confusing.

Is there something you will like us to consider because I see no reason why you prefer 5 points(work experience) to 15/10 points (Bsc/ Associate degree)

Please throw it on the table and let's look at it together.

My question is can my Bsc in Public Administration but considered closely related to HR Advisor which I nominated, I read somewhere that if your qualification is not closely related, it may affect the outcome of the assessment. That's why I opted to use only my work experience. Again, my bsc is from a state University here in Nigeria. Hope is clear now? Thanks for responding.
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by teewhysafe(f): 3:05pm On Apr 05, 2017
If your nominated occupation is not related to your qualification, you cant be assessed positively.
With VETASESS, it is a full assessment, you have to assess both.
Is it a 4 year degree from a State university? If yes, I cant categorically say they are not assessed positively but the chances are slim.

I seconded what @teewhysafe said oooh. Pelase look for another occupation that is closely related to your work experience and on skill level 2. Unless it is a 5 years degree since its a state Uni.

Human Resources Adviser falls under skill level 1. And to get a positive assesment he needs bsc (4 years) from a federal uni. 5 years bsc from a state uni. Or private Uni.

He can give it a shot....Who knows he might be a special breed with special anointing........ The almighty Vetassess can be outsmarted with all the special specials I mentioned ooh

The information above could be 100% wrong. It actually came from my small church mind.

Gurus in the house, people that attended a state uni with a positive assessment from Vetassess should come to our aid oooh.
