It's been confirmed that due to the huge amount owed FAAN by arik, all flights this morning in lagos has been put on hold, as labour and FAAN have picketed the airline and all activities holted.

According to an arik spokesman talks are on to resolve the issue but on a counter move, some labour members say arik is owing FAAN over 15 billion naira, which has accumulated over years and that no flights will operate today until a substantial part of the debt is cleared.
