So guys my NTELs data speed is slower than when I insert the Sim on my mobile. Average speed isnt up to 1mb, around 700kbs. But when inserted into my phone, it's up to 4mb per sec.
I've reset multiple times. Same ish, what could be the issue?

I strongly urge everyone to disregard the above comment, unless you want to be frustrated to death by slow internet. The so-called WAWU sim plans are throttled just so you don't enjoy your data. Stay away from it. I regret ever buying into it.

But if you can afford ntel's unlimited plans, then go those ones. They aren't throttled. Not that they are fast anyway

I don't know what you mean by throttled but anyway I have the normal ntel. Sim, the unlimited plan is the best cos there's no. Cap on it compared to other networks unlimited plans but it is freaking expensive. Come on.... It's 17500 every month for what now?

I stopped subscribing until I heard about the Wawu promo it is the best. Just pay 1k for 12 gb and if its not what you expect den don't subscribe again but I tell you, you will. Presently using the 3k plan which is 48gb and its fast and better grin

If your network is slow. Something is definitely wrong please check. I'd you still have data. myntel.com.ng wink

wow. No wonder I'm getting slow speed on my mifi. If I insert into my mobile it's faster but temporarily loses connection for like 10secs.

I have had a WAWU sim way before you, and I'm telling you authoritatively that it's throttled. It was after I complained to an ntel staff, who is my friend, that he told me that I made a mistake by buying the WAWU sim. He told me that the WAWU sim plans are throttled, and they would continue to be throttled.

Do you think any Nigerian network would give you 48gb for 3K, and allow you to enjoy it?

Ntel Network does not work with some modem.i once had the same issue,the truth is you have to get another modem for your Ntel SIM and make sure you test it before you pay.

Did u switch to 4g only? Ntel is 4g only so u need to swicth network type to 4g only and access point name as ntel

I have unlocked spectranet mifi (Huawei E5573-606 model) it works perfectly with other network sims but doesn't work with NTEL sim.

go and get another modem,it does not support NTEL SIM anymore.
you can get Huawei E5573-320 version it has the FDD Band that support ntel.
or change the apn settings on the Huawei E5573-606 modem if you are lucky it will work.

Is there something sinister happening to my modem that was unlocked 2 years ago. Every 6 months, it seems the guy that unlocked it has programmed it to go brick on me. He claimed its normal and I have to always bring it to update the unlocking. Please save me from being held captive. Image of the modem below.
