Dear Nairaland Friends,

Can someone please kindly guide me with an estimated cost of Foundation for this size of land 400m2 in Lekki phase 1. I am aware a raft or pile foundation is required. I have been given a quote of about 6million.

I don't consider this as reasonable, but I may be wrong .

Firstly you need to confirm if you need to do Pile or Raft foundation, a proper Soil test will ascertain which foundation to use.
If Raft , use the rate of N 14,000 - 17,000 per square meter, multiply that rate by the area of the house, that would give you a rough estimate of the foundation cost.
