How To Build And Grow An App Business by alaroyeibadan(m): 2:59am On Apr 25, 2016
The reason why mobile has become a lucrative and fascinating opportunity is simply because of the sheer amount of time that we are spending on our devices. Due to the apps that are out there in the market, the amount of time that we spend on our phones has doubled in the last couple of years. The people who understand this behavior are taking advantage of it and harnessing the opportunity.

A couple of years ago the app stores were a lot smaller but if you want to start an app business today then you have got a lot of competitors out there. The challenge here is the fact that number of apps that people use has flattened and there hasn’t been a significant change or growth in this number. So when you see new businesses going out there they are actually displacing an existing behavior on the phones of people.

To sum it all up, if you want to run a successful business through an app then you would have to give nothing less than your best when you’re building it and marketing it.

So to start off this journey you’ll have to initially sign up for a developer’s account on either Google play or Apple app store. Both of these platforms charge a fee, if you want to register yourself as a developer. But signing up on these well-known platforms increases the chances of your product going into the hands of customers which is the best thing that can happen to you. As the success of your business depends on how many people have bought – or in this case installed – your product.

After you have developed and uploaded your app on the app store the next step is to figure out how you’ll generate money from it. Initially you don’t want to set a price too high or set a price at all on your new app. free apps actually help boast sales and you can earn money from them by running advertisements. As soon as the demand for your app rises you can release a pro version for more people to unlock more features and no ads which your customers would have to purchase for a specific price.

Next, you’ll need an app logo and a description. These things should be made with perfection because when a target customer first sees your app, this is the first thing that will grab his attention. So, whether he’ll install your app or not is based on how you have described it.

In order to cleverly market your app you can create an intro video and upload it to the app store. You can also ask bloggers or opinion leaders around you to review your product. This is an effective way of creating a buzz about your app and reaching out to the target market.
