Please someone is showing me an RX300 for sale. He claimed that the model is 2001 model but I have a little doubt on that. Please help me verify this model and if possible educate me on the difference between the models. Im confused on the difference. My mind is telling me that it could be 98/99 model whose back light was changed. Pls help out -- Sienna and other gurus.

It's a 2001 model.
The rear lights of the 01-02-03 models are very sharp and brighter .
But the 98-99 models have a dull rear light ,
That's the difference I can notice

It's not common in the Rx300 series to change the lights because it doesn't change the price worth , all of them are priced the same.

3. These are the front headlamps of the 98 model, the 01-03 model headlamps are a bit different

Its either the dealer is trying to b smart with u or he's ignorant, but I suspect the former.

@Nijac or anyone that can help out, please can u help me through pictures to understand where the VSC is located on the interior of RX300 and furthermore show me how the interiors of the different models of the RX300 (98,99,2000,2001,2002,2003) can be differentiated.

Bros you seriously don't want car trouble if you can avoid it because the VIN will most likely also hint you on the history of the car. Make the guy park well joor!! Except maybe the price he's giving you is tempting
