Here are STDs that can still be spread even with rubber sheaths.
Super Gonorrhoea: A recent study shows that this type of gonorrhoea is an antibiotic resistant strain of gonorrhea (become resistant to all forms of antibiotic), and there is no new drug available for its treatment. It can be passed through skin onskin contact, making con doms only 30% effective.
Syphilis: This STI comes out like a painlesssore on the genitals, rectum or mouth. It spreads from person to person easily via skin-to-skin contact. Syphilis can be transmitted if some area are not properly covered by the rubber sheath during intercourse.
Genital herpes: You can easily get herps from an infected person. One symptom of aherpes is the presence of sores around the genitals, mouth, or anus. It is called an ‘outbreak’. If the outbreak appears on an area that is not covered by the rubber sheath, then transmission can occur. Doctors strongly recommend abstaining when you have an active outbreak to decrease the risk of spreading the virus.
Human Papillomavirus (HPV): Experts noted that In most cases, HPV goes away on its own and does not cause any health problems. But when it does not, it can cause health problems like genital warts which usually appear as a small bump in the genital area. It can also be easily passed with skin-to-skin contact.

If you are s3xually active, it is important to get tested regularly even if you practice safe s3x. Have it in your mind that getting tested regularly is not just about avoiding passing STDs, but it is also important to prevent an infection. Some STDs, if left untreated for too long, can lead to infertility.
