I have been wondering what are the differences between certificates and credentials.
Wikipedia says Certificate is a document or seal certifying the authenticity of something.
And Credential is a qualification, achievement, quality, or aspect of a person's background, especially when used to indicate their suitability for something.
What do we call The one we attach to CVs? Please enlighten us.

Your final university degree, WAEC, Professional Certifications are certificates while those certificates issued for specific job related posts are credentials as you cannot use it outside that job area for which it was issued

the ones we attach to CVs are credentials cos certificates still fall within the circle of credentials
