@ispeed: are you sure that the pictures are of the same vehicle? Strangely enough, the interior pictures are different: take note of the speedometer and tachometer dials - one is regular, black-faced and the other is white-faced; additionally, the 4x4 shifters in the two pictures are also different, so which one are you really selling  |

@jtoliver thank you to the notification, the second picture was mistakenly upload am selling the one with white-face and the speedometer is 55,000, is available for anyone that want to buy to come for the inspection and see the big horse before paying, you can come with your mechanic to convince you of what you are buying. thanks. @abbas_71 my brother is tokunbo never register in Nigeria and the speedometer is 55,000. thanks |

I would tend to agree with @joy2dwise: although "lowballing" is a generally accepted practice when it comes to online negotiations, we might also want to consider "what if we are the one selling?", in this case @abbas71, if you were the one selling this 2003 Montero, will you give it at 850k? I do not think so, what i am saying is that although this is a generally free market, let our conscience - and our common sense - be our guides so that we could reach an amicable compromise between seller and buyer. just my two cents on this, anyhow, @ispeed, thanks for the clarification about the pictures. i think people that post fake pictures of cars they have on sale should be banned. i saw this post and told a friend about this car. he was interested and left Abuja for Osogbo where the dealer was only to get there to discover that the car is an accidented car.the drivers airbag was burst(it is not reflected in the picture), the transmission was messed up etc. i have bought a car from a nairalander before only to discover the following day that the transmission is bad. please, though i know Nigeria is a corrupt country, cant we try and be honest with ourselves here? pls lets keep the evil of corruption out of here. |

@DATNIGGAK THANKS a million for the info. we really need to have guys like this out of the scene. and i wonder what the monitor is still waiting for with this thread. as a matter of fact, that is why i do not bother to read the posts of emeshot again after he posted a maxima once with an altered odo reading. when i and another post tackled him, the next time the thread itself was gone. the thread was gone but i never check emeshot's post again cos i already have a first impression of him. things that are inherently fraudulent you get hints. take a look at this montero for instance, someone already noticed differences in features. that is the kind of thing we are talking about. thanks DATNIGGAK for your comment. @DATNIGGAK Please i want you to contact the guy from abuja if is not the same jeep i advertise and i even show him the certificate of title, the drive side air bag get busted when one of my staff run into big pot hole and i told the buyer that i will replace that it only cost 5k and beside i still sold parthfinder jeep to that guy at very reduce price to compensate him. Please call your guy and confirm that. |
