As we all know, we have a whole lot of less privileged people around us; the fingers are not equal.
When you're at the park, you see beggars trooping around to collect arms. But, have you ever encountered this?
While I was doing my NYSC in Ebonyi State, more than 10 beggars came to me personally and they all had some thing in common; their story line.
The highlight of it was last two weeks, when a well dressed man stopped me and during the conversation, he told me that his wife was sick and he would be needing some cash for her hospital bills and transport. I've heard this story times without number.
I once helped a man with this same story only to find him few hours later in the cafetaria submounting 6 wraps of fufu and goat meat.
I've seen beggars who claimed they had diabetics and you'd later see them drinking coke.
Why cant people be straightforward? Actions like these are disheatening and would make people shy away from helping.
Have you ever had such experience?
Add yours

N.B - I'm not here to mock anybody
