yes its the 606 and 609 variant, u can aswell change to webui what supports 4G Only, i can aswell do that for u

My spectranet mifi 606 won't unlock anymore because I followed those steps and that upgraded my mifi and voided the warranty. Can anyone who's in Lagos help me with unlocking it?

I am having the exact same problem. The steps here are wrong and destroys modems. Did u eventually get yours fixed?
Also anyone else who got his modem faulty by following these steps, how did you fix yours?

Now, you can carefully follow all the well detailed steps enumerated below to permanently unlock your Spectranet Modem to use all other network 4G SIMs and 3G SIMs respectively

Without further ado, follow us carefully below on the steps involved to unlock your Spectranet 4G Huawei E5573s-606 MiFi modem.

1. Install your Spectranet Modem mobile partner to your PC if you have not done so before

2. Now, download latest Huawei hilink drivers here

3. Download another Huawei hilink driver V5 here

4· Unzip all the Huawei hilink drivers that you downloaded above and install them in your PC

5· After installing the drivers restart your PC for the drivers to be fully loaded and then continue with other steps

6· Now download this Huawei E5573s-606 firmware version here

7· Download this other Huawei E5573s-320 firmware version here

8· Download Unviersal Master Code generator here

9· Also download Huawei Code Calculator here

10· Make sure your Spectranet Mifi modem is well charged; now, insert an unsupported SIM into it and connect the modem to your PC via its USB cable

11· Unzip and launch the Unviersal Master Code generator and put in your modem IMEI in the space and then click on calculate tab to generate the flash code (password)

12· Copy the flash code generated to clipboard

13· Go to the first Huawei E5573s-606 firmware that you downloaded, unzip it and run the file P711S-E5-update_21.110.99.03.00.exe

14· It will request for a password, now paste the flash code you copied as the password

15· At this point, it will automatically start updating the firmware and installing the drivers, so just wait for the process to finish

16· After the process must have been completed, go extract and launch the Huawei code calculator that you downloaded above and then click on the read tab there to generate your unlock code as will be shown on the result field; take note of your generated unlock code

17· Now go back and extract the 2nd Huawei E5573s-320 firmware that you also downloaded initially and then run the firmware setup file in there; it will not ask for password again but will immediately start updating the firmware into the modem and the drivers will also be automatically installed at the process.

18· After the process is complete, go to your Huawei mobile partner interface and on the settings select network settings, and pop up to insert your unlock code will appear.

19· Finally key in the unlock code that you generated above with the Huawei code calculator to unlock your device.

On your computer, press the windows key and the x letter together... a list of options would come up... then go to device manager and confirm if your huawei modem shows up under ports. The reason why the modem might be undetected and showing ports failed is when the computer cannot access the device.
