Herdsmen Attacks: Just Before You Blame Buhari by histemple: 8:02am On Apr 28, 2016 |
By histemple. The recent infiltration of AK-47-wielding sponsored terrorists masquerading as herdsmen is increasingly worrisome. But until there is sufficient proof, it will be difficult for me to accept that these attackers are the usual normads we have hosted for so many years. The known Fulani herdsmen have been conducting their activities peacefully with their host communities for decades with sticks until recently. Chief amongst the reasons for my conclusion that it was a premeditated attempt to extend the insurgents to other hitherto peaceful regions, is the loud silence and body language of the certain persons---the disposition of Governor Ugwuanyi and the inexplicable silence of the usual vocal and intrepid Fr. Mbaka is preposterous at this auspicious time. Although most Nigerians have lost confidence in our political office holders, the incomprehensible and sudden muteness of the revered priest Mbaka whose congregants forms the bulk of those massacred is indeed worrisome. More so, the Governor who is the chief security officer of the state should explain to us what he did with the intelligence report at his disposal days before the attack. I guess he was busy with other things much more important than human lives. Until that is explained, his crying after the preventable massacre remains more piercing than the attackers bullets. Just before you blame the president on these attacks, ask the Governor and the Priest "what happened". It is illogical to blame the president for everything. Especially those things over which we have control. |

Op just answer this two questions. Why the president have not condemn this killings and order the security force to bring those involved to book since the killings starting ? Is protesters more harmful to this government that they were killed ? |
Re: Herdsmen Attacks: Just Before You Blame Buhari by histemple: 8:55am On Apr 28, 2016 |
2undexy: The solution is, all other stakeholders shouldn't just fold their hands and blame the president for everything. The Enugu State Governor can handle this situation with the state police command. |

Luckylife: Obviously you are not aware that the president has done that, some of the attackers were even arrested in the North. Secondly, why didn't the harmless protesters approach their immediate political authority? Must every protest be channelled to the presidency? How about protesting at the local council, the state assembly, the senatorial office, Governor's Office? In civilized climes, only what can't be handled at a lower level is escalated to the next level---------it is called channel of communication or reporting chain. |

histemple:he did that because the masses are suspicious of his silence, tell yourself the truth so that you wouldn't be blinded by sentimental factors.
