Following Senate’s approval, the University Management wishes to inform all Returning Students that the Registration Portal will be open for two (2) weeks, from Tuesday, 3rd to Monday, 16th May, 2016. So they knew the right thing all these while.

Why do we wait for people to die before we act in this country??

So the protest that took two lives only got them two weeks grace to pay their fees or still no exam for them? Is that what this means? Coz if it is, then i just dont think it's fair.

Should we be happy about this news?

Now! What really has changed? The policy wasn't reversed.

The school management has succeeded in using politics to bury the death of comrade Peter offurum

The school fees untouched.

I think the French put it rightly when they said;

"Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose! --- things which are supposed to have changed have only remained the same"

Uniport doesn't have a body the checkmates whatever happens in the system.

What about the peculiar charges talked about?

Christ! Why was I born into Nigeria?

Truly the law was made for the weak.

It's called sacrifice. As bad as it may sound. Even God knew,that's why he sent his son to die. That was the ultimate sacrifice of all.

I think the so called senate led by that VC Lale still do not understand the reason for the protest. Adding two more weeks for students who have not paid their fees doesn't change the situation at all. Infact it worsens it. I know a student who hasn't paid his year two fees yet and also the year three fees. How do you expect him to come up with #90,000 to pay both fees because you can't pay for one and leave the other. I'm solely responsible for what I'm about to say. If not for the corruption in this country, Lale should be prosecuted by the FG and brought out to be beaten to death by all the students of the University because it's clear he doesn't understand the workings of a University in this country. He's trying to turn the University to a glorified nursery school.
