Live-in caregivers are individuals who are qualified to provide care for children, elderly persons or persons with disabilities in private homes without supervision. Live-in caregivers must live in the private home where they work in Canada.
To work as a live-in caregiver in Canada, you must make an application to the Live-In Caregiver Program. If your application is successful, you will receive a work permit.
We currently accept application for placements from competent professionals with background in Nursing, Health Technology and other related health professions, Teachers, Kindergarten teachers and Social workers. 2009/10 application now closes on 31st of August, 2009.
Our service is to facilitate sponsorship of the applicant by employer with Human Resources and Social Development Canada-Service Canada (HRSDC-Service Canada) and other related support services.
