It would have been a disgrace to the world of soccer had Manchester City 'luckily' made it to the Champions League final. They were clueless. Football in Real Madrid's way has been the best so sar. At a time in the game, it was as if Madrid are in training session. The game was football made easy, devoid of pressure for the Galacticos, they went forward with the ball, knew what to do with it and always posed significant threat to ManCity's defence. Kudos to the Real Madrid guys, they gave me the perfect soccer play that I had seen long long time ago. |

Arsenal would have been in the final if they faced Roma Wolfsburg and city in d knockout stages.. The real test is against athletico.. Agreed they played psg at d group stage. We all know champions League starts proper at d knockout stages 2 Likes 1 Share |

kobonaire: Haba bros, why? So in your mind, to be the best, one has to command the higher/highest revenue of any other? Hmmm! Real madrid commands the highest revenue of any club on the planet, where does she place toe to toe with Barcelona in the last decade? It's just as lame as rating a thieving politician as more valuable to the society than a professor is owing only to how much money he possesses. Stop giving money too much power than it's worth. Financial prowess don't imply quality! It boils down to a robust marketing strategy, nothing to do with value! Na just packaging! 6 Likes |

malton:Please follow the discussion. We are discussing LEAGUE here and NOT club. The league is composed of clubs. La Liga and Bundesliga do not have the TV revenue or entertainment factor of EPL because the revenue sharing system heavily favors the big clubs : RM, Barca and Bayern. That is why their league as a whole is not as entertaining as the EPL. Let me give you and example. Atletico Madrid won La Liga in 2014. Yet they still made less money why from La Liga's TV rights profit sharing as the last teams in the EPL !! Yes, the last team that got relegated in the EPL : Cardiff, Fulham made more money than Atletico from the sharing of TV profits. That's why many of the La Liga games are garbage in terms of entertainment factors. Read more here http://soccerlens.com/tv-money-distribution-la-liga-vs-premier-league/155280/ |

Segadem: lol, this is very funny. I bet you guys use this to console yourselves. I'm wondering why a team like Malmo or Shaktar donesk doesn't win the UCL.. What happened in EPL this season simply shows that the teams in the league are all trash. 2 Likes |

ollah1: These are my points: 1) La Liga has the best teams in the world: RM and Barca. 2) The EPL has the mist entertaining league in the world because of fairer wealth distribution among the clubs in the league. kobonaire: We have told you times without number this discussion isn't about money. Its about the quality of the league. Its about the teams that plays football in the league. If you claim to be the best student in your department and you represent your school but fail in the competition, nobody cares how much you pay as school fees. Since you failed in the big stage, your school would be noted of producing half baked graduates. Same thing happens in football. 3 years in a row. The UCL is in spain 2 years in a row.. EL is in spain and it could turn to 3 this year 5 Likes 1 Share |

ollah1:maybe u will say AC Milan and inter Milan are trash clubs also because they don't qualify for UCL. Mr man things like this happen in football, Egypt won three nation cup consecutively and failed to qualify for the next three, I could remembered some years back when the EPL teams dominated the UCL Quarter final and I could remembered as well when real Madrid fail to qualify for quarter final for like 5 seasons not until when Mouriho came for the recue, where is Brazil of old? That's football 4 u! |

ollah1:Maybe your discussion. My discussion with someone else was about which league was the most entertaining. I too follow La Liga but apart from a handful of games it is quite boring. Half of teams play in stadiums that look like secondary schools stadia. RM and Barca score goals on those poor hapless teams like they are engaged in a training ground routine. I along with many in the world are tuned into the EPL because of the entertainment factor. In fact EPL draws the largest thread discussion even here on NL. Yes, they don't have the top teams in the world but they have created the best football product. 1 Like 1 Share |

RandomVic:Your argument shows why La Liga is a two team league, while the EPL shares the wealth and hence creates a more balanced league. There is a reason why EPL has a higher TV rating than La Liga. I don't give a rats-ass which league you prefer, what I care for is which league is more entertaining/marketable in the whole world and that league is EPL. This table shows you what I am saying. Unless you can present an intelligent counter-argument, I really cannot waste my time with block-head responses on this thread
