The Holy Spirit will help you to know
God's will for you and help you to
understand His message to us in the
Bible. Daniel, I Corinthians 2:10-16 tells
us "God has revealed to us by His Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men
knows the thoughts of a man except the
man's Spirit within him? In the same way
no one knows the thoughts of God
except the Spirit of God. We have not
received the spirit of the world but the Spirit of who is from God, that we may
understand what God has freely given us.
This is what we speak, not in words
taught us by human wisdom but in words
taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual
truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that
come from the Spirit of God, for they are
foolishness to him, and he cannot
understand them, because they are
spiritually discerned. The spiritual man
makes judgements about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's
judgment: For who has known the mind
of the Lord that He may instruct him? But

For who has known the mind of the Lord that He may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. I would like to pray for you, Lord I pray that you will continue to grow in YOU, that YOU will study Your Word and pray for Your guidance in YOUR life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Help Someone Find GodLook to Jesus Imagine that you discovered a simple cure for every kind of cancer. Would you want to share it with everyone? Of course! Well, humanity is sick with something far worse than cancer: It’s called sin, and it causes never-ending death. But God in His mercy has provided the cure: His Son, Jesus Christ. This great news needs to be shared with people everywhere. Jesus’ last command to His disciples was to share the gospel and help people all over the world become His followers (Acts 1:cool. Tell Your StoryYou can start sharing with a friend by simply telling what has happened to you. John’s Gospel tells how Jesus healed a blind man. The hostile leaders kept questioning him about Jesus. The man who had regained his sight simply said, "One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see" (John 9:25). So start by sharing your own story. Tell how Jesus has changed you and forgiven your sins. Your life can show how God changes people. Tell God’s StoryAfter tellin

After telling your story,
go on to share about the Problem (sin)
and the Solution (Jesus), which are
summed up in Romans 6:23: “The cost of
sin is death, but the free gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Tell your friend that no one is good
enough to make it to Heaven, but that “all
who did receive him [Jesus], who
believed in His name, He gave the right
to become children of God” (John 1:12).
And then simply invite your friend to ask Jesus Christ for salvation and
forgiveness. Do It All in the Power of the SpiritRead
the beginning of Acts 1:8 again: “But you
will receive power when the Holy Spirit
has come upon you . . .” Note that we
don’t have to rely on our own power, but
on God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, as you read about in Part 2 of Look
to Jesus. Jesus also taught this when he sent out
the disciples, saying, “The Holy Spirit will
teach you in that very hour what you
ought to say” (Luke 12:11-12) Help Others Look To JesusIn the power
of the Holy Spirit, tell your story, tell
God’s story

God Hears Your PrayersLook to Jesus We learned earlier that God talks to us in
the Bible. In prayer, you are talking with
God. He knows you better and loves you
more than any friend. He wants to spend
time with you and hear from you. God is more than a friend. He is the Lord
Almighty. He is able to do things for you
and knows the right way to help. To know
what God is like, just look to Jesus (John
1:18). When Jesus’ disciples asked Him to
teach them how to pray, He gave a model
prayer, often known as the “Our Father”
or “The Lord’s Prayer” (Matthew 6:9-13).
It is not a magic formula to be repeated
over and over to gain His favor. Rather, it gives some keys for relating to Him. Let’s
look at some of them: It starts with worshipOur Father in
Heaven, holy is Your name. We should approach God with deep
respect, knowing at the same time that
He is our loving Father. We are called to
love God with all that we are. We worship
Him and declare that His name is holy.
We pray that more and more
Re: The Holyspirit by Parmilerin: 12:50pm On May 07, 2016
We pray that more and more people would see this. We align ourselves with His willYour
kingdom come, Your will be done, on
earth as it is in Heaven God has a great plan for the world and
for His people. We should find out how
we fit into that plan. His plan for today
includes something for us to do. And we
ask Him to exercise His mighty power to
make things right, here on earth. The more our prayers agree with His purpose,
the more He delights in answering them. We ask for the things we needGive us
today our daily bread, and forgive us our
debts, as we also have forgiven our
debtors. After we worship and accept His plan, we
talk about our own needs. “Daily bread”
means the basics: Food, clothing, and
shelter; and we are aware every day that
He is the one who provides. When we say “Forgive us our debts,” we
remember that He has graciously
forgiven our sins -- a “debt” too large for
us to ever pay back. Jesus lived a perfect
life and shed His blood on the cross. He
paid that debt forever. Because He lives in us now, we are able to forgive others.
We

can be set free from bitterness and
broken relationships. We ask for protectionAnd lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from the evil
one. Though we are God’s children, we still
tend to sin. So we ask Him, through the
Holy Spirit, to guide us away from
tempting situations. Also, we have an
enemy, Satan, whose goal is to “steal,
kill, and destroy” (John 10:10). We ask for protection from God who can help us no
matter what we are going through. Look to Jesus in PrayerThe more we
spend time with God in prayer and in His
word, the more we know Him and love
Him. The more our hearts beat with His.
The more like Jesus we become. Share the Lord's Prayer with your friends!

The Church Is Your FamilyLook to Jesus When you became a follower of Jesus,
you were “born again” (John 3:3). Can
you imagine being a newborn baby just
coming home, and your parents left you
alone on the floor, giving you no food,
milk, clean diapers, or love? That would be terrible! The Church -- Not a Building, But
PeopleAs a physical family makes sure
you get fed and loved, the church – your
local group of believers – will encourage
and guide you as you grow spiritually. One of the most important things your
church does is remind you often of the
main points of the gospel: Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for
your sins and rose again to show His
power over death,Everyone who has by
faith received God’s free gift is forgiven
of their sins and becomes God’s
child,Jesus lives in each believer today through His Holy Spirit, giving them
power to live a God-pleasing life.The
Church is a TeamNot only do YOU need
the church, but the church needs YOU!
Imagine a soccer team where everyone
wanted to be the goalkeeper. How ridiculous to have 11 goalies! God has
designed the church with different roles
-- meaning, the team is not complete
without you, and you are lacking without
the team. "But our bodies have many parts, and
God has put each part just where he
wants it. How strange a body would be if
it had only one part! Yes, there are many
parts, but only one body" (1 Corinthians
12:18-20). Don’t Let the Wolves Get YouWhen a
pack of wolves goes hunting, they try to
separate young or weak animals from the
herd, where they are easily captured and
eaten. Satan looks for people to devour,
just like wolves do (1 Peter 5:cool. By spending time with other believers, you’ll
grow strong in your faith. Then, you can
resist the devil, and he’ll run away from
you (James 4:7). Look to JesusDo you meet with other
believers regularly? If not, ask God to
help you find a group of strong believers
to meet with. He knows how desperately
you need to be connected to other
followers of Jesus and have a spiritual family. And share

Get Direction from the BibleLook to Jesus Have you ever tried to do something hard
without having someone teach you? You
probably needed a little help. Life can be hard sometimes. But God
provided us with help to teach us. Our
help is in the Bible. But it does so much
more than that . . . A profile of the One Who loves youThe
Bible is a love letter from our Creator. He
loves you so much that He came to suffer
and die so that you could live with Him
forever. Although the Bible may seem complex,
God promises that His Spirit will guide
you into all truth. He will reveal to you the
important facts about Him and what it
means to follow Him. Don't think of the Bible as a book that
only specially trained people can
understand. The Bible is for everyone. It
is full of God's thoughts about Himself,
and about us: the people He has loved
from before the creation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). What can you find in the Bible? You can
find real help for your life today. Hope to
keep you going. Truth that sets you free
and gives your life meaning. Guidance for
your relationships with people. Most of
all, it tells you about Jesus, who said, "the volume of the book [Bible] is written
about me" (Psalm 40:7). The Bible is God’s story. Jesus created
and sustains everything by His powerful
word (Hebrews 1:3). Yet He humbled
Himself and took on a weak human body
for us (Philippians 2:8-9). He faced every
temptation we have, yet remained innocent and pure. He understands our
sufferings because He suffered too. He
allows us to be completely forgiven and
made perfect because He died on the
cross. Jesus showed His power over
death when He rose from the dead. Jesus is the true author of the Bible, just
as He is the author and perfecter of our
eternal salvation. Look to Jesus in His WordReading the
Bible is not just looking at stories about
Jesus; it really is looking at Jesus. The
word is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12).
It’s alive because Jesus is the Word
(John 1:1). Though He died for you, Jesus is alive today.

HE knows your thoughts and plans. As you spend time with Him through His Word, He gives you sure and certain hope that becomes an anchor for your soul (Hebrews 6:19). Share this with your friends!
