I have selected R4X on geekbuying already to be ordered soon, but may cancel it because there is no support service for their phones like we have for tecno and infinix here in Nigeria.
Guys, how have you been coping with hardware repairs, i like xiaomi phones, but absense of support service is a turn off for me. What is the way forward guys.

I understand the feeling and that was what delayed me from joining Xiaomi family for long. I was so used to visiting Carl Care that I can't imagine using a phone without Care center agent in Nigeria. But have you ever imagined using a phone so good and strong where you may never need to visit a Care service agent? That's Xiaomi. I have been using a redmi note 4 for the past three months and there's no going back to tecno/infinix/itel! The last phone I sued was infinix note 4 and I have to repair the charging port after just two months of purchase. People use HTC and iPhones and they don't worry about care center because those phones are premium and they dont develop faults anyhow. Ultimately its your choice.
a. Choose a sub-standard phone susceptible to faults but have customer care service agents that will repair your phone for a fee, even under warranty
b. Choose a premium phone so strong it may never develop faults, hence you may not need customer care center; use it till you get tired of using it and even sell it off at good price.

Microsoft launcher doesn't show ads, that I know for sure. And it is the most customizable launcher I know of. It is in the same category as nova launcher prime but free of charge.

The only thing I wish I could change is to make it pull news from Google instead of Bing. But the default search engine can be set to Google.

Am about to make the order, but am seeing many version such as HK stock global version, HK stock EU plug version, HK stock Global ROM, HK stock package B Global version. I don't really know which stock is good in Nigeria.
I want a phone of 5.0inches or 5.1 or 2inches, something that will easily fit into my pockets. i have chosen xiaomi redmi 4x, bacuase it 5.0inches, but am also looking at redmi note 4, but i think its 5.5inches.
