The mah of a battery alone does not only determine if u will have good SOT... The chipset of the phone, screen size, screen resolution should be put into consideration.

U will be surprised the 5000mah on the Tecno l8 would be out beaten by the 4000mah on redmi 5 plus.

Don't be moved by how large the battery is. Other factors should always be put into consideration.

Dude! Root that phone for starters.

Install TWRP, Magisk, Clarity Kernel and most importantly Google camera.

That'll be the best thing you've done this yr.

Don't forget to thank me later sir.

I'm strongly tempted to ditch my Honor 8 for The Redmi note 5 pro that's how cool that phone's bang for buck is.

It all depends on how much development you have going on for the specific device. I've personally bought and configured the Redmi 4X for my younger sister that's why i know a lot about it.

With Clarity kernel you can enjoy things like QC 2.0, KCAL colour calibration, DT2W, Unbelievable SOT with custom CPU governors and others. My personal favorite though is Gcam.

It's simply wizardry...
