my redmi note 4x just suddenly went blank this morning, it did not fall and no recent apps was installed. i last used it to play some songs on my way to work.

it went blank in my pocket, it does not power on at all (not even to the mi logo ) just blank. my battery was around 40%.

I tried charging it but the led indicator is flashing red (normally it shows green while on charge), but it still has not powered up even while on charge.

currently still charging it and the led is still flashing.

Any suggestions?

1. Redmi 4A 2GB/16GB N37000
2. Redmi Note 5A 2GB/16GB N36500
Slightly above your budget
1. Redmi 4x 2GB/16GB N41000 (that's what I am using)
2. Redmi 5 2GB/16GB N42000

These devices running on Snapdragon 425, 425, 435 and 450 respectively are good. They don't come with dedicated SD card slot except Redmi Note 5A. If you are not going for Note 5A, You will have to sacrifice your SIM 2 for SD card. I will advice you increase your budget a little bit and get a 3GB/32GB of mentioned redmi variant to avoid the temptation if you run of Space and you must use SD card and you don't want to remove the other SIM or you want your phone to accommodate more app. More ROM, more app installation.

Anytime you hear snapdragon 625, a battery of 4000 must be attached to it. More weight in your pocket.
