Pls I need urgent help. I downloaded new theme and after the reboot, it failed to unlock. After imputing my password it will go blank for some seconds and asked me to enter the password again. I'VE tried rebooting, and even turned it off and on, to no avail. This same thing happened. when I upgraded to MIUI 10, but when I switched it off and on, it solved it, but now it's failed. Redmi 5 Plus.

Someone should pls help me out. It's been long I used my phone. I need to be able to log in with my password.

I had so many themes downloaded when I was in Miui 9...,but everything changed the moment I upgraded to Miui 10. After the upgrade and the resultant reboot, I found it difficult using my password; and what I did was to turn it off and on, and it pulled through.

Later on as I normally do change themes, I went to change my theme and I noticed that all of them always displayed the incompatible-with-Miui 10 message. I went and downloaded new theme and after the reboot, my password couldn't help me gain access to my phone again. It will recognise it at first before going blank, and prompting me to re-enter my password again. That's the stage I've been since after upgrading to Miui 10.

Keep rebooting and trying. But if that fails, you'll need to reset your phone. You'll lose your files/data.

Use the Volume up button + Power button combo, then select wipe to erase the phone

After resetting, will it solve the problem of incompatible themes and bugs that come with Miui 10. I don't know whether it's because I downloaded Miui 10 via ota instead of the full rom
