To those intending to update from miui 10 to miui 11, it's advisable to download the full rom from miui.com and flash manually. Benefit of this is you'll always get a copy of the current rom just in case of any ish or bug. By flashing same rom manually again, bugs are usually flushed out, this saves you data because you won't need to download twice until when you get errors when updating via OTA.

the issue of my phone battery running low, I was advised by a friend to keep it on battery saver mood, so.i guess that's pretty much ok.

just that when I bought the phone newly, the phone would be at 100%. for hours without dropping to 99%

the issue of phone heating up, maybe it's the weather.

the current issue that I have give up all hope on, is the issue of not browersing on my pc using hotspot, though I am using USB tethering.

well, I guess I still complain after all

A. Yes, after downloading move the downloaded rom to your internal storage.
B. Yes If your bootloader is unlocked and a custom recovery is installed , you might need to backup your data just incase.

1. Pls can you help wit a link on step by step to get bootloader unlocked and also flash custom recovery? (that is more like rooting the phone, right?)
2. Will one be able to update the OS in future via updater app without downloading the whole app, and having issues?

I downloaded the full Rom from the link you shared (1.69G), however, after copying it to my phone's memory and clicking the updater , it starts redownloading the same (1.69G) ROM i just copied to the memory.

Is there something i'm doing wrong?

It is compatible with Glo 4G if you are in areas with Band 3. that is what I am using currently.

But for band 28 we have Mi 9 Global Version, Mi 9T and Mi 9T pro, Mi 9 lite, Mi A3, Redmi Note 8 Pro. Mi Note 10

Clear storage of updater app and reboot or use OTA if the update is above 1gb

That still doesn't justify the attack on them. Its the peoples choice let them be. Someone like me, I am not a game freak. I dont play games, just social media and my movies. I wouldn't know how my Tecno device would react if I played dream league. So everyone has their requirements if you know you want a proper phone buy a higher end device. I know even laptops have their special gaming laptops. Is it that other laptops cant install games? No they can but for optimal use and flawless experience a proper gaming laptop would be recommended
