I downloaded this, unzipped it but don't know the file to click on.

No one asked you to unzip it. Hope you haven't deleted the Zip file?

I have posted the how to on this countless times here.

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Good morning all. Please my redmi note 8 is having problems. During calls I cannot hear my caller and they cannot hear me but the ringing tone works. It started yesterday evening. Please help!

What helped me finally.... I had cleared speaker, force restarted twice still did not work. I updated security and scanned the phone and it works. Perhaps it was bugs. I am no expert. Thanks to the person who responded to me.

You can do that from your recent apps screen by long pressing on the app you want to lock.

This no longer work. I just installed the new update, android 11. Long pressing takes me to app info.

Are you new to MIUI?

Split screen can be activated from the recent app screen.

A long press of the target app in the recent app screen will give you a padlock button to lock the app.

This no longer work. I just installed the new update, android 11. Long pressing takes me to app info.

Hope you didn't download the incremental update? It won't work.

You have to update to 12.0.15 first

Hope you don't use your phone while charging? Also there is a new update. MIUI 12.5.1 is the latest

Factors that can cause heating can be poor network conditions.
