Glo Unveils Talk Special, N2500 Data Plan by ikbnice(m): 10:39am On May 13, 2016
Globacom subscribers now have an enhanced and unhindered access to do business, socialize and acquire knowledge through their phones with a novel product and three other repackaged services unveiled by the network. While Talk Special was newly introduced into the array of products offered by the network, Twin Bash, Campus Booster Plus Voice, formerly called Campus Booster, and Glo N2500 data plan repackaged to offer 5GB data bundle each month instead of 4.5Gb previously offered. Globacom, in a press statement released from its headquarters on Monday, explained that Talk Special which gives customers six times the value of amount recharged with data to gift to another Glo customer for free is specifically developed for those who use more of talk time than data. An airtime recharge of N100 for instance will give the subscriber N400 talk-time to call any network with 75MB data worth N300. 25MB of the 75MB can be gifted to family and friends. By dialling *303#, the subscriber can select the preferred bundle from the bouquet of N100, N200, N500, N1,000 and N5,000 denominations to enjoy the offer. The repackaged Twin Bash was developed particularly for subscribers who are more active on data than voice. The subscriber receives six times the worth of recharge and additional data that can be shared with another Glo customer for free. Globacom said that any customer who recharges with N100, for example, will get 125MB data worth N500, part of which is 25MB data for subscribers to give out as gift to another Glo customer and N200 talk-time to call all networks. The offer is available in all other recharge denominations such as N200, N500, N1,000, and N5,000. Subscribers are to dial *223*PIN# to enjoy the abundant benefits of the reloaded Twin Bash. Alternatively, customers can also buy Twin Bash bundles by dialling *303#. The company advised customers to dial *606# to gift free data on any of the products as well as configure their 10 special numbers. For Campus Booster Plus Voice, the company said the unique product which gives eight times the subscribers’ data value when they browse on campuses nationwide, has been enhanced to give free talk time to customers. It provides a platform for subscribers to enjoy extra data usage on the campus for academic research and socialization. To buy the Campus Booster data plan, customers should dial *777# and choose a Campus Booster plan. “It is the first of its kind in the country,” Globacom added. For a N200 data plan, the subscriber gets 200MB of data off-campus, but 400MB on campus and an extra N50 as talk- time to make calls. The Campus Booster plus Voice bundles are also available in the N500, N1,000, N2,000 and N5000 denominations. The Glo N2500 Data Plan gives customers a mouth-watering 5GB data valid for 30 days. Globacom enthused that it is the best offer in the category in the country, adding that subscribers can share and gift this plan to their loved ones. Customers can buy the data plan by dialing *777# and choose their preferred plan. Globacom reaffirmed its resolve to provide affordable and efficient voice and data services for students and businessmen.
