*THE 23 CRAZIEST STATS OF THE 2015/16 PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON*


*_Man United played more backward passes than any other team (3,107)._*

Aston Villa were in the lead for just 243 minutes this season, less than any other team in Premier League history.


*_Liverpool played the most forward passes (7,448)._*

Jack Grealish (Villa) lost all 16 of his Premier League games this season, setting a new Premier League record for losing every game played in a single season.

*_Liverpool won more corners than any other side (265). They also scored the most goals from outside the box (15) and made the most tackles (870)._*

Georginio Wijnaldum scored 11 top-flight goals this season, with all 11 coming at St. James’ Park. The Dutchman is the first player to score more than 10 goals in a Premier League season with all of them coming at home.

*_Norwich have been relegated from the Premier League for the fourth time – only Crystal Palace can match that._*

Tottenham not only had more shots than any other side (658), they also had the best shooting accuracy in the division (52.7% on target).
